Most of the heat passing through the coating flows through a mesh formed by the silicone resin that fills the gaps between the spherical beads. However, because the resin layer is extremely thin, the thermal conductivity is extremely low.

ā–¶ Acrylic silicone resin prevents moisture penetration If moisture penetrates insulation material, thermal conductivity rises sharply, reducing effectiveness. The silicone resin within the coating repels moisture, helping to prevent long-term degradation of insulation performance.

ā–¶ The hollow ceramic beads are perfectly spherical and uniformly sized The infrared reflectance of the ceramic bead surfaces has a significant effect on thermal conductivity. In general, the infrared reflectance of ceramic surfaces exceeds 90%. This thermal barrier layer reflects infrared radiation, making it difficult for heat to accumulate on wall surfaces.
